Last night in Addis Abeba - this time

The last evening in Addis we ate dinner together with our friends from Addis Abeba. On this picture here you can see from the right hand side Mr Kidanemariam Aregawi, head of the educationboard in the subcity of Kirkosa, Maria Legeryd, student at Hotell and Restaurant school in Bollnäs, second grade, Lina Halvarsson also student at Hotell and Restaurant school in Bollnäs, first grade, Mrs Christina Sustler, teacher at Torsberggymnasiet in Bollnäs, Mr Aklilu Dawit, headmaster at Urael School in subcity of Kirkosa, Addis Abeba, Mrs Margareta Englund teacher at the Hotell and Restaurant school, Torsberggymnasiet in Bollnäs. When this picture was taken we visited Mr Aregawis office and gave the Bollnäs flag to the office.

These two men, Mr Ayheualem Tereda and Mr Habteselassie Kidane were also together with us the last evening and they also did alot to make our stay in Addis great. Ayhuealem is a Team leader in the subcity of Kirkosa and Habteselassie is headmaster at Aboyte Secondary Highschool that we visisted our first day in Addis.

For our last dinner in Addis we went to the Old Milk House in the center of Addis. The restaurant is located on the top of a tall building with a nice view overlooking the lit up city. But when we went up on the roof to take pictures we had to be careful because there was no fences. The view was great! The food at the Old Milk House were from all over the world. We tried different dishes and one of our hosts is a pizza fan - that means that Aklilu ate pizza!

During the evening we all signed a new letter of intent that tells about what we came up to during this week - we are going to apply for a new planningtrip and this planningtrip will make it poosible for headmaster and teachers from Addis to come to Sweden and from there we can plan the exchange that will be in the future.
We will apply at the Internationell Office in April and hope for the best.

A great evening with alot of lafter and cheerfulness. Mr Aregawis held a speach and gave us some gifts to bring home - thankyou! Margareta responded with a big: Thankyou for a great week in Addis.
